Jae and I finally bought the book The Tale of Despereaux: Being the Story of a Mouse, a Princess, Some Soup, and a Spool of Thread by Kate DiCamillo -- winner of the 2004 John Newbery Medal for children's literature.We first learned of it while watching its movie trailer about a month ago. I was really impressed by the trailer then and even more impressed by the book today. Check out the book, you won't be disappointed. The movie, unfortunately, won't be released until December 19th, but enjoy the trailer until then.
